Waverley Rugby Club is one of Sydney’s proudest and most successful Rugby Clubs. We have claimed in the Men's Competition 11 Club Championships and 52 Suburban Premierships which, together with a women's premiership, makes 53 Premierships across the grades in the last 52 seasons. (The 2021 season was cancelled due to COVID).
Waverley Rugby Club fields six senior men’s grades and an U21s (colts) team. One of the most multinational clubs in Sydney, Waverley Rugby Club are winners on and off the pitch.
In 2023, Waverley had all 5 men's open teams reach the semi-finals, playing in 3 grand finals & winning all three:
Kentwell Cup (1st Gde): Waverley "Finalists"
Burke Cup (2nd Gde): Waverley "Semi-Finalists"
Whiddon Cup (3rd Gde): Waverley "PREMIERS"
Judd Cup (4th Gde): Waverley "PREMIERS"
Sutherland Cup (5th Gde): Waverley "PREMIERS"
Waverley Oval is a special place with great Rugby cheered on by the special atmosphere from our supporters singing "Waverley's on fire!" in the stands!
"ONE WAVE" IS OUR MOTTO FROM 1ST GRADE TO 6TH GRADE AND U21s AND WHETHER YOU ARE A PLAYER OUR SUPPORTER.

Training is at Waverley Oval on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6:30pm). Contact Club Captain, Callum Bidmead (0413 362 144).
Our home games are at Waverley Oval and then afterwards at the Beach Road Hotel, 71 Beach Road, Bondi Beach.
