Women’s game rained-off

Unfortunately the women’s game against Merrylands is cancelled as their fields are closed due to the wet weather.

The Waverley men’s games are still on, and the girls are encouraged to get along to Waverley for at least part of the afternoon to support the men. Tomorrow forecast is slightly better than today, so we might get a little bit of sunshine!

In relation to last weeks game (v Rockdale) which was also rained-out, we’re now replaying that on 13th August at 10.30am, at Waverley.

We will look for a suitable date to play Merrylands, but it will most likely be a Sunday.

NB – I did suggest to Merrylands that they come to us tomorrow and play before our men on the back oval, but it was too short notice to switch to such an early start.
