After a fantastic season in 2010, Waverley is on the hunt for players for the 2011 Season.

With a new team of coaches, and a great number of new and returning players we are focused on making 2011 a great year for Waverley, a year where we take on the big guns of the competition and show them what the girls of the East are made of.

We’re all about having fun, playing some great rugby and making new friends – Come and see for yourself and experience the difference.

Come and join our mixing pot of players. In addition to our local girls, we’ve had in the past or currently have team members from New Zealand, Tonga, Fiji, France, England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Brazil, Hong Kong, USA, Canada and Denmark all displaying their unique style of rugby and adding character to the team. Travellers are very welcome and are bound to take home some great memories.

TRAINING IS ON, RAIN, HAIL OR SHINE – WE PLAY IN THE RAIN, SO WE NEED TO TRAIN IN IT AS WELL.

Have you played full or semi-contact sports before?
Do you have the desire to play at city, state or national level?
Do you want to keep fit or get fit?

Do you like to have a good time?
If you answered yes to at least one of the above questions why not give it a try.

If you`re under 18 you`ll need permission from a parent or guardian. Only girls 16 and over are eligible to play however, if you are turning 16 during the season you are welcome to come and train and start to learn the game.

COACHING & SAFETY

Our coaching staff are accredited by the Australian Rugby Union and have completed all the necessary compliance courses.
